School Principal Ms. West, hosted FAN-PAC & the Hispanic Republican of Jersey City at the Whitney M Young Jr

Jersey City NJ, School Principal Ms. West, hosted FAN-PAC & the Hispanic Republican of Jersey City at the Whitney M Young Jr Community Public School 15 this morning.

The groups met to discuss FAN-PAC Collaboration with the Hispanic Republican and the Whitney M Young Jr Community P.S. 15 of Jersey City. FAN-PAC plan to launch the project to create a plan for building/reconstruction of the School P.S. 15 Playground. FAN-PAC collaboration will strive to accommodate and enhance the physical, mental and emotional growth of all children by creating a play environment inclusive to all children and all ages.

FAN-PAC Objectives for this Project:

Reduce playground injuries  • Connect school and home by creating a safe place to meet and play  • Inspire our children to make physical activity a part of their daily life  • Encourage cognitive development and imagination  • Increase emotional confidence and foster social interaction and cooperation  • Promote moderate and rigorous levels of physical activity that lead to strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and cardiovascular fitness  • Increase the ability of our school to meet national P.E. standards.

In order to keep our students safe, promote student and community social health and physical fitness, we are seeking funds and support to implement the Whitney M Young Jr Community P.S. 15 Playground Project.
